Yahoo! Personals is a dating service provided by Yahoo!. The site lets people post ads for free, and offers a premier service. Yahoo! Personals has international editions, like France, Germany, Brazil (operated by a 3rd party local company) and China.

Yahoo! Personals makes money charging users over subscription rates. To contact one person you saw or sent you an e-mail through Yahoo! Personals, you need to be a paid member of the service. If you are not, you can only send free standardized one-line opening phrases. There is no possibility to communicate freely, including exchanging of e-mail address and phone numbers, without being a paid member.
